Trunk or Treat...Day 2

It is 8:03....look who is already trying to get into that pumpkin of sweet goodness....

Trunk or Treat

Tonight we went to trunk or treat at our church. Jackson was dressed as a conductor, and Claire wore a pumpkin sleeper. Jackson got lots of candy, and had a great time! Nandee decorated her trunk with Thomas the Train decor in honor of our little conductor.

Wordless Wednesday

One Week Old and a Visit to the Park

Yesterday, Claire turned 1 week old! I wanted to take a weekly picture of her, to see how much she was growing, and couldn't decide what stuffed animal or doll to use to compare her to. I finally decided to use my baby doll that I loved and adored from my childhood. The doll's name is Ashley, just for the record. Itty bitty Claire is not too much bigger than the doll!

We also got up and took Jackson to the playground this morning. He rode his tricycle around the track, and enjoyed the slides and swings. Claire and I found a park bench near the car, and just enjoyed the beautiful weather.

Sixth Day at Home

Today, we had a quiet day at home. We had a few visitors, and Jackson decorated his pumpkin he got at the pumpkin patch with some stickers. He has been parading around the house in a Santa hat all day long giving us presents. Tonight, my dad and Blake took Jackson to Dairy Queen to get a "shake-shake" (milkshake). I think he really enjoyed the alone time with his daddy.

Freeman: Party of Three Finale

Last Wednesday was our last day as a family of three. Blake took off work, and we spent the day hanging out...doing pretty much whatever Jackson wanted to do! We started off at the library for Lap Sit. Then, we ran a few errands, and landed at Chuck E. Cheese's for lunch. It was a fun time with our little boy.

Claire's Birth Day was amazing. I prayed many specific prayers over my pregnancy, her delivery, and her first few moments in this world. God answered. Every. Single. One. We give Him all the praise for her life, and thank Him for this beautiful gift, our daughter, Madeline Claire.
