20: Fun Friday

I forgot to grab my camera Friday morning...I meant to take it to Jackson's wild and crazy tumbling class. Several new children have joined the class, and it is now mostly all boys. Two of the other little boys are in Jackson's preschool class. They jump on the trampoline alot and do handstands on the wall, and lots and lots of running. He has the best time. We also worked on the Letter B this week, memorized a few verses of scripture, and worked on writing his name. He also told me this week that he loved me very much, and that I was the best lover he had ever had! I about died laughing!! Still getting some words used out of context!

19: Thankful Thursday

Today, I am thankful for my niece or nephew that we are welcoming into our family in August. Lydia sent me an ultrasound picture of baby this morning, and I just can't wait to meet him or her.

Today, I am thankful for little James Turner Thomas. My friend from high school, Ashley, (and my favorite CVS pharmacist), had her first baby on Tuesday night, and he is so cute! I am thankful Ashley and baby are doing just fine.

17: Ra-Ra

Jackson and Claire both think my friend, Robin, is wonderful. And she is. They love how funny she is, and Claire loves that she lets her take everything out of her purse and play with it. Robin also gives her candy if she finds it in her purse. Jackson called Robin, "Barney," until recently. We have no idea why. Today I notice Claire started saying Ra-Ra everytime Robin got close to her. She reached her arms out for her a couple of times, and called her Ra-Ra. So sweet. I am thankful for my friendship with Ra-Ra, and that Robin is so sweet to my babies.

13-15: Road Trip

When Blake got off work on Friday, we headed to Murfreesboro to spend the weekend with Tiffany, Brian, Ellis, and Lainey. We spent lots of time laughing, relaxing, and just having a great time. Ellis, Jack, and Lainey played all weekend long, and I don't think any of them ever exchanged a cross word. They got along so great. We played Pictionary Man Saturday night after the little ones went to sleep, and I laughed so hard! We had such a great time. Poor Jackson does have a really hard time being away from home at night. Every time it was time to go to sleep, he would cry for his bed, and it took him forever to fall asleep.

We also had this great idea that we would wake up and get dressed for chuch in Murfreesboro, and be back in Chattanooga for church at 10:30. We can barely get there on time coming from Soddy Daisy, so I am not real sure why we thought we could pull that off successfully. And we didn't. We got to the church parking lot about 11:45, and decided to head on home. Next time, we will go to church with Brian and Tiffany!

I love my BFF and love the weekend getaways!

12:Thankful Thursday

I am thankful for little girls who love spaghetti. I am thankful for a noodle mustache on my daughter.

10: More Stomach Virus Fun

I am pretty sure I spent from Saturday morning until Monday afternoon cleaning up puke, washing laundry in hot water, bleaching the bathroom, and spraying Lysol. Poor Jackson was really sick! Somehow, Blake and I escaped it. Praise the Lord!!

9: Sunday Snapshots

Jackson and Blake went to church this morning. Claire Bear and I stayed home. She has a stomach virus. Boo. I hope no one else catches it! She is feeling better, and I am almost finished washing all of the linens and clothes from yesterday's sickness. Ha!

6: Pictures all out of Order!

Friday, Jackson went back to tumbling class, and then we met up with Ben and Robin at the park.

Friday night, we celebrated my dad's birthday. We went to Smokey Bones for dinner, and back to my parents' house for cake and presents. Happy (early) Birthday, Dad!

5: Thankful Thursday

I am thankful that all four kids slept for 2.5 hours on Thursday! :) Usually, my two darlings are uncooperative, and they were compliant during naps today!

3: 15 Month Check Up and Fun at Jack's Favorite Place

Claire at Dr. Wiley's Office.
Jackson wanted to go to Barnes and Noble after we left the doctor's office. I was nice enough to share my gift card with him. :) I can't say no when he wants book, and I think he secretly knows that. All cuddled up in his new reading chair. With his throw. Like mother (and father), like son.

On Tuesday, Claire had her 15 month check up. She weighed 19 pounds, 13 ounces (10th percentile), and was 28 1/4 in length (10th percentile. Her head was in the 75th percentile. She got a great report from the doctor. Her ears are even clear, for the first time since October. Dr. Wiley put her on Singulair a couple of weeks ago, and it seems to really be helping with the constant snot and cough.

She is so much fun! We love her so much. She is talking a ton, and loves to be held. All the time! I told my mother in law the other day that I needed to find a way to permanently attach her to my hip. She says, "Mommy, hold me," most anytime she is not in my arms. Other words she says are: Jack, Daddy, Nandee, Nana, Papa, Pop, Brad, Lady, dog, whoof, cat, wa-ee (water), yo-gi (yogurt), bitey (bite), paci, need a paci, book, eye, read, hey, banana, cookie, Away (singing Away in a Manger), Amen, cracker, wow, nite nite, bye bye, and her newest favorite, NO!!.

She is still not walking, but is pulling up and cruising around the furniture now. She has not taken any steps, yet. She is climbing alot, and we have to keep an extra eye on her. She is pretty fearless. Jackson was always, and still is, very cautious, and she is not.

The girl can eat! Her favorites are oatmeal, sweet potatoes, peas, green beans, rice, pasta, applesauce, bananas, yogurt, cheese and grapes. She also loves Ritz Crackers, and will only drink water, and sometimes a little milk. She does not care for meat or juice, at all. She has a sweet tooth, too...loved my mom's chocolate pie she made New Year's Day. Also loves vanilla ice cream.

She loves to sing, dance, and be read to. She likes to play with Little People, and Jackson's cars and trains. We love her so much...I am enjoying every moment with them both, because it really is going by. Way. Too. Fast.

2:Workout Boy!

I wish I got as excited about "The Thirty Day Shred" as Jackson does!!
