81: Monday Messes
Blake and I have been working on some projects around the house during Spring Break. Monday, Blake went through the house with paint and touched up some places that were showing a little "we live here." Blake gave a Jackson an old paint brush so he could..ahem...help. He got quiet Monday night, and he had created his own paint concoction in a Gerber snack bowl and was painting Claire's room...with Buzz Lightyear shampoo. Thankfully, this was a free mess. No permanent damage was done.

53: The 230 Dollar Nap
Blake and I were in the kitchen talking, and I decided to go check on our sleeping wonder. He wasn't in the bed. That was kind of scary...he was not visible in the room. Because he was in our closet. Decorating was the term Jackson used. Decorating the carpet. Decorating the door. Decorating a Vera Bradley purse. Decorating a blue shirt. Decorating himself. Decorating Blake's brand new Wallabees. With red finger nail polish.
We have started un-decorating by scrubbing our son down with acetone. Tomorrow, I will get started on the rest.

A Little Bit of This and That....
Jackson has had me in stitches lately. He fixed his own breakfast this morning. He was so proud of himself. Today, he asked me if we could go get one more sister out of my belly. Like, he already wants another one!

2nd Offense
And this is Jackson sporting a pair of 3-6 month leggings for baby sister. Blake did not think this was quite as funny as I did. Definitely good black mail for when his first girlfriend comes to visit.

Everyday Life
Jackson,
I love your little two year old self. I love that you are practically obsessed with Thomas the Train and Lightning McQueen. I love that your hands are always sticky for one reason or another. I love that you insist on wearing your shoes all the time, even if they are on the wrong feet. I love that you have such a great imagination. I love that you love grapes and Capri Suns for a snack. I love that you ask about Baby Sister every day. I even love that you dumped an entire box of Cheez Its in the shower, that I just cleaned. You are a rascal, and I love you.
