Jackson was 13 months old on March 26. He is really starting to look like a little boy. He isn't walking yet, he does cruise behind a truck that he got for Christmas. He seems to be adjusting to his new schedule just fine. He kind of whimpers when I leave for work, but stops within a few seconds of me leaving, and sometimes he doesn't cry at all, which makes it much easier on both of us! He is continuing to pick up lots of words. He can say: hey, hello, bye bye, ball, dog, oh look, wow, mama, dada, nana, no no, and hot (which is what he calls oatmeal). He says a couple of other words, but not consistently, like "out" and "more" His "tricks" are: showing people where his head is, making monkey noises (not dog or cat..monkey??), playing peek a boo, and blinking his eyes when asked where his pretty eyes are. He also has a meltdown if he see bananas out in public, anywhere. He must have one. Oh, and the little guy takes naps for both of his babysitters. What is up with that? I guess that is about all that is new with Jackson lately. I am so excited, summer is on the way!
