The Incline Railway

This week we are all on Fall Break!!   Blake is taking five vacation days, and we are savoring every single moment of this much needed family time.  We considered going out of town, but decided to stay right here at home.  I feel like since July, life hasn't slowed down for half a second, and we are all tired and in need of rest and refreshment.  Basically, we came back from vacation in Tybee, moved out of our house in the middle of the night, moved into our new house, Blake went back to work, I started homeschooling and babysitting, Blake (and the rest of us) have survived football and girl's softball season, and we now have two games left of Fall baseball for Jackson.  Fall has been a whirlwind, for sure.  I don't even find glory in being busy, but life just has a way to doing that sometimes.  I am finding that as my children get older, I have to be even more mindful, organized, and careful with how we are all spending our time!

Yesterday, we did go ride The Incline.  I have lived in Chattanooga for 33 years, and I am not sure if I have ridden The Incline or not?  Maybe when I was younger, but if I did, I don't remember.  Jackson and Claire LOVED it.  It was such a pretty day yesterday.  We then walked to Point Park and walked around for a long time.  We finished off the day with dinner at Big River Grill.  I am so very thankful for my little family.
