Some things....
.....that I really said today. That I do not think I would have said before I met Jack and Claire.
We do not pour Gatorade in the bath tub. I understand that you think it is cool that your bath water is red, but that is just not going to work for me. K?
Dear Claire, thank you so much for sleeping through the night for the first time...last night. (She is almost one.)
I also retreived a piece of tree bark and a googly eye (from Jack's artwork) out of Claire's mouth today.
Love my babies! :)

Boys with their Bikes and Random Thoughts
The other night we took Jack to the park to ride his bike...we go there often, because we have found a secret place that is (in our opinion) the best place! We let him ride in either the basketball or tennis court area at the helicopter park. It is completely fenced in (no cars) and there is hardly ever anyone else there. So, Jack can ride around in a large, open space with no worries of cars or getting to close to the street.
1) I am down 16 pounds. :)
2) I have started planning Claire's birthday party. I can not believe she is going to be ONE next month!
3) Jack went to the dentist this week: great report, no cavities.
4) I made my first trip to Goodwill (Claire Wood, you would have been so proud of me!). Jackson wanted a detective costume, basically, an oversized kid's suit jacket. I found one for $5.99. I got to the check out, and it was on clearance. $2.99. Score.
5) I got Claire an ADORABLE swimsuit for next summer at Target. $2.50. Score again.
Road Trip!
Saturday morning, we decided to take a little day trip to a nearby Mennonite Farm that I heard about from one of my friends. The farm is about an hour from our house. They are open daily and sale all types of vegetables, bread, jams and jellies, raw honey, spaghetti sauce, salsa, soaps, and even a homemade laundry detergent. We bought a few items (green beans, okra, bread, strawberry jam, and honey). I wanted to try the freshly churned butter, but they were sold out. I did not take any pictures of the place...I did not want to be disrespectful, and wasn't sure what the proper etiquette was, but is was a gorgeous farm. We snapped a few photos at a little stop that we made....a small airplane/gliding park.
