We sadly told our 1999 Ford Explorer good bye last week. Blake bought this car right after he started his teaching career in 2002. It has driven him to Loftis Middle School, Soddy Daisy High School, Orchard Knob Middle School, Normal Park Upper School, and Soddy Daisy Middle School. It has driven him home to 322 Elliott Street, the Love Shack, Lightning Drive, and our now home. We are a sentimental group, and were sad to see it go...even though it was leaking oil, the trunk was leaking when it rained, and the ABS system as well as lots of other things had stopped working. There have been thousands of prayers said in that car, as well as many conversations with one other. We sure are going to miss you, Blue!
