Valentine's Day: Freeman Edition

Blake and I don't really do a whole lot to celebrate Valentine's Day. But, since having Jackson and Claire, we did want to make it a fun day for them. On Monday night, Jackson and I made cookies, and decorated the house for Valentine's Day. We cut out construction paper hearts and I helped him write little notes around the house about why he loved daddy and why he loved Claire. We also talked about God's love, and how we can show our love to Him.

On Valentine's Day night, I fixed a dinner (spaghetti), and we watched Lady and the Tramp since it was released on Blu-Ray on V-day. It was a sweet day. Lots of Love.

Jackson's Valentine Party at School

Today was Jackson's Valentine Party at school. He really had fun, even though that last mother/son picture does not appear that way! He did not want his picture taken. His little class exchanged valentines and had a special snack today. Love this little boy!!

I purchased Jackson a Valentine shirt from Gymboree with a truck on it....but, he didn't get to wear it because of the Freeman Plague. It still has the tags....should I take it back? I am thinking, yes.

I LOVED Claire's Valentine outfit. Unfortunately, she only got to wear it to see Dr. Wiley.

My sweet hubby brought home Olive Garden. And served it on my China. And he cleaned up..while I was soaking in a bubble bath, reading my book. That is what I call speaking my love language.
