Decluttering: The Task That Keeps on Giving

I have been on another decluttering kick.  We consistently have random piles of random things lying around, so I have been sorting and throwing things away, etc.

Cabinet Before and After
I bought this board to stick invitations, bills, thank you cards...etc. on.  I removed everything outdated.....

Exciting?  I like to think so.  Just feels good to document progress sometimes. :)

Jackson's Share and Tell Day

Jackson's school job on Friday was "Share and Tell."  He chose to take his dinosaur collection, since we would not allow him to wear his Batman costume.  His teachers said he did a great job naming the dinosaurs and talking about the plant and meat eaters.  Love this boy!

Jackson's New Gymnastics Class

Saturday, Jackson started a new gymnastics class.  The one we have been attending for a while was not working with our schedule.  His teacher, Ms. Emily, suggested that we try a different gym.  She works there, too.  They actually offer an all boys preschool class, and the coach is a guy, too.  Jackson had a blast!!  I think he thought he was at superhero training camp the whole time....he climbed a rope, ladders, and got launched into a foam pit.  It is a little bit of a drive, but we don't mind.

Look! No Training Wheels!!

Last night, Jackson decided that he wanted to learn to ride his bike....without the training wheels!!  Blake took them off, and he was riding after about four tries.  I was so proud of him, but with each milestone I am reminded that he is growing up!  He is such a little boy these days...I can't believe he is going to be FIVE in February.  I love him....there really is something special about  a momma and their baby boy.

Open House 2012

Tonight was Jackson's Open House at preschool.  He got to show us around his classroom, and around the rest of the school, which we have become quite familiar with! Jackson and Claire also got to drink punch and eat cookies, so it was a fun night for sure!

Sunday Snapshots: Claire Edition

Jackson did not want his picture made on Sunday.  Claire wasn't really into it either, but I got a few of her helping me before our Sunday School class got started.

Life as we Know it

Jackson stays in character about 75 percent of the day.  His imagination is amazing.
Claire and Jackson LOVE to feed the birds our stale bread.  I am pretty sure Lady eats it all, but it is a highlight of the week.
My broccoli lover.  A weekly dinner staple.
All ready for school.  I got Claire to wear a pair of jeans, but after lunch she wanted them off, and wore a diaper the rest of the day.  She wears dresses. :)

Claire and I made a donut run to the new Donut Palace on Saturday morning.  I may or may not have had the courage to go in Publix and pick up a few things in my pajamas.
My little lefty may have had a gross motor skill delay, but her fine motor skills are amazing.

Our days may be simple, but they are filled with so much joy.  I love every giggle, every smile, and am thankful.  So very thankful.
