We will never meet our 3rd son or daughter here on Earth. But, because of God's love and God's plan for us, we will meet them in Heaven one day. The past 6 months have refined our family and faith in many ways. We have learned to truly take each day as the gift that it is. We have learned to cling to our faith in a brand new way, and trust that things happen that are part of God's perfect plan, even when we don't understand. We have truly tasted the goodness of the Lord and the love that the body of Christ has for hurting hearts. We know a deeper love for one another, and for these two precious children that we have here with us. We give God all of the glory, honor, and praise for carrying us through the hardest and saddest days of our lives. He is a good God!

The lyrics to the song above are to "Nearness" by Bethel Music. I listened to that song hundreds of times while driving around town with a Starbucks coffee cup in my hand. Thank you to someone I love very much for inspiring me and giving me courage to write about this, so that I can blog about my precious family again. I have learned I will never have "closure" to this, which is what I once thought. It's part of our story now. Our story that is part of His good and perfect plan.
