Disney Trip: Day 1, Magic Kingdom Part 2: Mickey's Christmas Party

After our already super fun day at the Magic Kingdom, we came back into the park after it had closed for the evening for a special Christmas Party!!  It was so wonderful!

We rode:
The Jingle Cruise
The Haunted Mansion
The Swiss Family Robinson Tree House

We also met Peter Pan and Wendy!  Oh, and Jackson got his first pair of ears!!

The best part of the this special night was the hot chocolate, cookies, parade, and SNOW on Main Street USA!!  

Disney Trip: Day 1, Magic Kingdom, Part 1

We traveled to Orlando on December 18, and stayed in a Hampton Inn near the Magic Kingdom.  On the morning of the 19th, we drove to the Art of Animation Resort, and headed to the Magic Kingdom!!  Did I cry at the entrance? You bet!!!

What did we do the first day?  We rode:  Dumbo (twice), The Barnstormer (twice), Mad Tea Party,

Peter Pan's Flight, It's a Small World, Carrousel, Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, Tomorrowland Transit Authority People Mover, Tomorrowland Speedway, Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress.We also watched one of my favorite shows: Mickey's PhiharMagic.  We also met Cinderella, Rapunzel, Butt Lightyear, and Stitch!!

 

Claire's favorite rides were Dumbo and The Barnstormer.  Jackson's favorite was everything except....  he did not love "It's a Small World."   Our favorite moment was seeing magic through the eyes of Jackson and Claire.  After all this....we went back to the room to get ready for a very magical Christmas party!!
