Life on Lightning: 10 More Sleeps

 This weekend we got a lot of our things packed up, and moved to the garage.  The kitchen looks cluttered, but actually every cabinet is empty, except for one that is holding essentials that will be the last thing we pack and the first thing we unpack.

Most all of Jackson and Claire's toys are packed, with the exception of the trains and Batman toys that are on the train table.  These will also be a last to pack, first to unpack.  Most everything in the living room is ready to go.

The hall bath is completely packed, and scrubbed from top to bottom.  I actually locked the door so that we don't even go in there this week!

Claire's room will be our last project.  She has to have her crib to sleep in, and all toys are packed except her kitchen, which will be moved with the furniture. 

We finished Jackson's room this weekend, except for his bed and a few other last minute things.

Jackson keeps asking how many more sleeps until we move, and the official countdown is now on!

Summer Bucket List #25: Send Jackson to a Camp at HPUMP

Jackson attended "Nature Adventure Camp" at HPUMP this week!  He had the best time!!  It wore him out.  He slept most days for 3 or 4 hours when he got home!  I am thankful he got to participate!  I have some more pictures on my phone that show some of the super cool things he got to do!

Summer Bucket List Item #7: Make a Late Night Run for Donuts

Yesterday was National Donut Day.  I am not sure if other countries celebrate such a thing.  But, last night we gave Jackson and Claire their baths and ready for bed and surprised them with a trip to get donuts!  We love Krispy Kreme, so we headed out on our "late night" (a.k.a 9:00) run for donuts!!  The store was packed, and we waited in line at the drive thru for 20 minutes to get our donuts!  Jackson had a sprinkled chocolate, and the rest of us just like the glazed.  Claire decided we should say the blessing for our donuts (she knows be grateful for the good things in life)!!  Blake offered up thanks, and referred to the donuts as manna from Heaven!  I bet in Heaven, the donuts will be fat free!!

Summer Bucket List #35: Go to a Lookouts Game!

We went to see the Lookouts play baseball tonight!  We had such a fun time.  We went with our church...I am not sure how much of the baseball game was watched, but we sure had a fun time socializing!  Blake even caught a ball!   I LOVE my church!!
