Claire's Last Day of School

Claire's last day of school was on Monday!  She has had a fun year of PDO with mommy and Mrs. Heather.  I have worked with this program on and off again since Jackson was about 6 months old.  It is a fun place to work with some super sweet ladies! 

Life on Lightning: 29 Days until Moving Day

Today, we continued packing up the kitchen.  Who knew Blake and I could pack so much stuff into 1228 square feet?  Oh. My. Word!!  This is the Goodwill pile...from the KITCHEN! 

This little girl was up for an after bath photo shoot.  Her hair looked so cute after I dried it!  She can't ever wear it like this because it all falls in her face, and she can't stand it. 

She looks like a little girl now, rather than a baby.  She is amazing!

We packed this china tonight.  It is really special to me.  My Aunt Joann, who I loved dearly, gave it to me before I got married.  I am very excited that it will now have a place in our new house!  It is old, as I believe she used it in her home before she gave it to me.  I will pass it onto Claire one day. 

Blake made his first liquor store run today.  Only to get boxes.  :)

The First Goal!!

This face is the face of a little boy that scored his first soccer goal!!  He was the only player that scored from his team on Saturday, and I am SO proud of him!!

Soccer season is over, and it was super fun!  Jackson's coach (Rachel) was such a great coach.  We love her!

On Friday, I turned 33!!  7 years away from 40!!!  That seems crazy to me.  I have a 5 and 2 year old!  Seriously, how did that happen?   I had a nice day, and felt very loved!  I am truly blessed to have so many great and amazing people to share my life with.  In this 33rd year, I really want to focus on continuing to take care of myself.  I am very focused on meeting the needs of my family, and want to make sure I am taking care of myself.  Taking time to go running or exercising.  I want to continue eliminating processed foods from our diet.  Of course, I will still go to Starbucks.  Because that is how I roll.

Jackson's Last Week of Preschool

Friday was Jackson's last day of preschool!  He was really excited. 

These are his teachers, Ms. Lindsey and Ms. Cindy.  We have had such a great year.  I really can not say enough good things about this program. 

Sissy got a little fun in Friday during pick up time. 

Wednesday was pajama day.  Jackson was super excited to wear his pajamas to school, but was a bit disappointed he couldn't wear them to church that night!  I love this boy!!

Packing Up: The Kitchen

This weekend, Blake and I started packing up our kitchen.  Bittersweet. Bittersweet.  We packed up most of our dishes, glasses, coffee mugs, and left only a few pieces of our silverware out.  I am hoping to have the entire kitchen packed by the end of the week (just leaving out a few pots and pans and my much used Crock Pot).  I am still processing my thoughts on all of this and it seems surreal.  We are thankful that God is ordering our steps as our family makes this transition.  We can see His hand of provision in each decision that we have made, and for that we are thankful.
