Jack's First Tooth

Jackson lost his first tooth Thursday night!  He pulled it himself, didn't even cry.  He really wanted to keep his tooth so that he could take it to school on Friday.  I don't think anyone else in his class has lost a tooth, so it was a very big deal.  He already has another loose bottom tooth.  Mr. Jack is growing up!

Jack started back to gymnastics this week. He told us these moves are really going to help him at work (the Batcave).

So, I bought this the other night with some Christmas cash.  I was reading it, and commented to Blake that it was much harder to understand than my NIV.  Somebody switched the boxes, and although the box says "New King James Version," it was a King James.  I returned it and got what I wanted.

Jackson tried to tie our Christmas tree to the wall with the dog leash so that we wouldn't get rid of it.  Poor buddy.

2012 Book List

So, last year one of my goals was to read more books.  I LOVE to read, but have since neglected this hobby since having Jack and Claire.  I am very up to date on children's lit...but anything for myself....not so much.  Last year, I set a goal to read 12 books. That is nowhere near as much as I used to read, but I knew that was a realistic goal for me...one per month.  I have gotten into the good habit of reading at night after Jack and Claire go to sleep.  Bath.  Book. A lovely end to my day.  Without further ado...

I need to go to Lifeway and get a Study Bible.  The pages of mine all fell out during my first three years of teaching 3rd grade due to excessive use.

My brother took all of my dad's old home videos and put them on DVDs for him.  We watched some of them after breakfast.  Blake now has proof that I used to be really skinny and I could do round offs, back hand springs, and back tucks.  It was also very funny watching miscellaneous band concerts and parades that Blake and I were both in, yet we never talked to each other!
